Job Title: Associate Consultant (Intelligence and Analysis)

Job Description
The Associate Consultant position will cover the following areas of responsibility:
Execution:
- Support the team in developing creative consulting solutions for clients facing specific challenges or opportunities in Nigeria
- Support research and analysis products: Assist in monitoring political, legal, socio-economic, commercial and regulatory developments in Nigeria and identify issues relevant to our key accounts that may require further analysis
- Proactively brief account leads on key trends to help advise clients effectively
- Understand where to acquire relevant information according to research requirement
- Assist with drafting of briefing notes, research papers and a range of client deliverables
- Deal and assist with ad hoc needs and queries
- Maintain some regional expertise through desktop research, attendance at relevant seminars and in-country intelligence gathering
- Draft briefing notes and short research papers
- Support marketing and initiatives to generate new business leads
- Support development of proposals and pitches
- Bachelors degree or higher in relevant discipline from a reputable institution
- At least 1 year experience in a research and analysis role focused on Nigerian politics
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills; Has an inquisitive mind
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Attention to detail
- Keen interest in current affairs in Nigeria and Africa as whole
- Good grasp of current political and economic matters
- Excellent analytical skills
