Elephas - We are a Digital Publishing and Marketing Company providing email, websites, marketing and cloud services. Our company is seeking to hire a very creative, intelligent and skilled candidate with deep knowledge and passion for developing and managing websites.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:


Job Title: Web Designer

Location: Ikeja. Lagos

Job Descriptions

• He/she will focus on both front-end as well as back-end development, and will work in a deadline driven environment.
• This position is for a candidate with strong problem solving abilities with good dose of imagination and ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for web design and development.
• Translate business requirements into solutions.
• Design websites and related functionality.
• Manage social media accounts.
• Debug issues that arise with the performance of websites
• Provide technical support to clients.
• Manage content, links, order flows, registration flows, and transaction logs.
• Plan for future changes, like improvements, software and hardware reviews, and updates.

Qualification and Requirements

• Knowledge and experience in Wordpress, HTML and related technologies.
• Flexible attitude with proven experience working as team player.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Cpanel Admin with IP & DNS experience.
• Windows server, Linux and Unix hands on experience is a plus.
• PHP, Joomla, (Gimp) Designer/Developer is a plus.
• Ability to customise open source solutions is a plus.

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will:

• Posses a portfolio that demonstrates the ability and experience to create, design and manage at least the items listed above.
• Be Involved, autonomous, rigorous and flexible
• Have a very quick understanding of briefs,
• Have a good understanding of and passion for social media.
